The key to any summer salad is fresh ingredients. In this tropical twist on a classic Italian Caprese salad, Chef Alex utilized seasonal offerings to create a refreshing take on a summer salad.

A Worldwide Celebration of Music Comes to Timbers Kaua‘i! Hualani's restaurant is proud to be Kaua‘i's only stage for Hawai‘i's Make Music Day.

With the intention of bringing great community groups together for a common goal, Timbers Kauaʻi at Hōkūala co-hosted a volunteer event with Sustainable Coastlines Hawaiʻi on June 17th, 2023.

Timbers Kaua‘i and Hōkūala are proud to announce a new partnership with National Tropical Botanical Gardens (NTBG), who have graciously donated native plants to our collection at The Farm at Hōkūala in an effort to preserve the seeds of growth the Garden Island is known for.

Every Spring, our Timbers Kauaʻi ʻOhana ask when the Poisson Cru will be back on the menu at Hualani’s. Wild Pacific Skipjack tuna is tossed with Hawaiian sea salt, the juice of Tahitian limes from the Farm at Hōkūala, coarsely chopped local vegetables, and freshly squeezed coconut cream

We are so happy to welcome our new General Manager, Chris Gampon to the Timbers Kaua‘i at Hōkūala family. Chris was born and raised on Kaua‘i, and joined the team in March of this year. Please join us in a warm aloha and welcome to Chris as we learn more about him in this month’s Talk Story.

Led by our Hawaiian Cultural Practitioner Kalani Flores, the team at Timbers Kauaʻi at Hōkūala aims to connect our sense of place firmly in the culture where it was built. We strive to do everything pono, respecting the land and the ancestors that came before us. With Kalani’s help, our staff is consistently learning more about Hawaiian culture, language, and practices, which we in turn share with our guests.
