From plant medicine to food and shelter, nature’s provisions have carried the community on the islands for centuries. By taking our kuleana to the ʻāina seriously, we welcome our Owners and guests onto our farm to learn about sustainable farming and the history of our sacred endemic tree species. 

With the intention of bringing great community groups together for a common goal, Timbers Kauaʻi at Hōkūala co-hosted a volunteer event with Sustainable Coastlines Hawaiʻi on June 17th, 2023.

Timbers Kaua‘i and Hōkūala are proud to announce a new partnership with National Tropical Botanical Gardens (NTBG), who have graciously donated native plants to our collection at The Farm at Hōkūala in an effort to preserve the seeds of growth the Garden Island is known for.

2022 marks The Farm at Hōkūala’s fourth year, and we are starting to see our trees mature, our crops flourish, and our owners’ coconut grove expand as we welcome new members to our extended ‘Ohana.
