For Jerry and Jamie Orten, the journey to Timbers Kaua‘i began over a decade ago with a growing love for the island of Kaua‘i itself. After thirteen years of visits, the couple made the decision to call this island their home—and in doing so, discovered a lifestyle and a community that continues to exceed expectations.
A Warm Welcome
The appeal of Timbers Kaua‘i was immediate. “We heard about Timbers many years ago, and when I learned they had a plan to develop here in Kaua‘i, we stopped by right away,” Jerry recalls. “And it was—wow.” That initial reaction sparked a new chapter in their lives, one centered on connection, authenticity, and the natural rhythm of the island.
What stood out immediately to the Ortens was the genuine welcome they received—not only from the staff at Timbers Kaua‘i but also from fellow Owners and guests. “The staff are so welcoming and friendly,” Jerry shared. “The aloha vibe—you can touch it, feel it, smell it, taste it.
