Third Annual Operation: Rising Star Raises Over 23 Scholarships

On December 15, 2024, Hōkūala hosted its third annual golf tournament fundraiser to benefit Folds of Honor, a beautiful day filled with aloha and community.
In partnership with our generous sponsors, local businesses, and personal donors, Operation: Rising Star 2024 raised over $115,000 – funding 23 educational scholarships for the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled military and first responders throughout Hawai‘i.

Folds of Honor Educational Scholarship Recipients
Through the mission of Operation: Rising Star, we are deeply honored to support families across Hawai‘i. Each scholarship represents hope, opportunity, and the profound gratitude we hold and honor for their sacrifices. Below are a few of the 2023-2024 Folds of Honor scholarship recipients supported through our tournament.
Join the Mission
Over the past three years, Hōkūala and the Ocean Course have united the community to raise more than $315,000 – funding over 63 scholarships for local families. While our 2024 fundraising efforts have concluded, Operation: Rising Star is gratefully accepting any additional monetary donations to benefit Folds of Honor scholarship recipients throughout Hawai‘i.
