New Experiences in 2024

Wildlife Arts Program – We kicked off the year with a Paint an Aʻeo event on January 18th with Patrick Ching, our artist-in-residence. Patrick’s passion in life is teaching people about nature through his art. Growing up in Hawaiʻi, Patrick has utilized his surroundings to create beautiful depictions of nature and wildlife. Working as a ranger for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at the Kīlauea Point National Wildlife Refuge, he became familiar with seabirds and songbirds who inspired his art. He also spent ample time with ocean life like sea turtles and monk seals, who influenced his career as an author. Patrick plans to host more events in 2024 with a mālama ʻaina theme–focusing on conservation and wildlife. Stay tuned!

Kai Nalu Adventure – With the help of our incredible adventure crew, we are now offering custom-curated activities with a focus on holistic health and wellbeing. Kai Nalu Adventure begins with a morning run on Kalapakī Beach followed by a refreshing surf session. Experience island life and appreciate the waterman mindset of growing up with the ocean and the beach as your playground.
