Operation: Rising Star Golf Tournament
Hōkūala and Timbers Kaua‘i are proud to partner with Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide life-changing scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled military and first responders. Our second annual golf tournament fundraiser, Operation: Rising Star, will be taking place on Sunday, December 15th, 2024, at the Ocean Course at Hōkūala.

Kauaʻi Community Market
Kauaʻi Community Market at Kauaʻi Community College, 9:30 am to 1 pm. Besides fruit and vegetables, this gourmet market features locally made goat and feta cheese, tropical flowers, local honey, coffee, kimchi, tropical pies and jams, and European-style breads. Meals include kalua pig and poi, authentic Thai, Puerto Rican style tacos and sandwiches made to order.

Taste of Hawaii
The Taste of Hawaii is the original food and wine tasting event for the islands and on Kauaʻi. Produced by the Rotary Club of Kapaʻa and countless community volunteers, this year marks our 32nd year of hosting The Ultimate Sunday Brunch. Bon Dance Festival
The summer Obon season perpetuates the Buddhist tradition of honoring the spirit of those passed on celebrated with special services and festivals. The festival includes food booths, taiko drummers and other colorful sights and sounds, and bon dances that have become a cultural touchstone for all in Hawaii.
Kauaʻi Poke Fest
The annual Kauaʻi Poke Fest will be held at Koloa Landing Resort on Saturday, June 8, 2024 with celebrity chef and the godfather of poke, Sam Choy. VIP ticket holders will have early access to the poke tasting hall. The festival includes live entertainment, 20 professional & amateur chefs creating unique and delicious poke dishes for everyone to try, and over 600 pounds of fresh ahi poke.
The King’s Parade & Hoʻolauleʻa
Come celebrate the King’s Parade and Hoʻolauleʻa on Saturday, June 10, 2023. Parade starts at the Vidinha Stadium along Rice Street to the Historic County Building where the festivities will take place. Take in the beautiful floral adornments of our Pa’u riders and their horses. Live entertainment, crafters, and food are available.
Kōloa Plantation Days
Ten days of family fun in Koloa & Poipu. Koloa Plantation Days is held on Kauai’s south shore every year in July. The many ethnic groups that came to Hawaii to work on sugar plantations, and the Hawaiians who welcomed them, are celebrated through music, dance, costumes, and food throughout this ten-day festival.
Heiva I Kauaʻi
In 2024, Heiva I Kaua`i celebrates the 22nd anniversary of a unique, exciting and colorful Tahitian dance and drumming competition. This annual event provides a venue for performers of all ages to present their talent, skill and cultural knowledge to an audience of more than 1000 attendees daily! Come and enjoy this community-sponsored, family-centered celebration of Tahitian culture at the Kapa`a Beach Park.
Kauaʻi Marathon & Half Marathon
The Kauaʻi Marathon and Half Marathon are one of the most beautiful destination races in the world today. Taking place on September 1, 2024 this race is a great way to combine a unique experience and a get-away that only Kauaʻi can offer. Participants pass hula dancers and Taiko drum troupes along the course while viewing striking mountain views. Each runner concludes his or her journey along one of the most beautiful oceanfront finish lines in road racing.
Eo E Emalani Festival
The 36th annual Emalani Festival takes place Saturday, November 2, 2024 in Kokeʻe, Kauai from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Tents with lei making, exhibits, and food surround the performance and seating area for the audience. Central to the Festival is the arrival of Queen Emma, her attendant, and guide Kaluahi on horseback at 10:00am. Sponsors and Guests are invited to witness a historical event, authentic Hawaiian protocol and genuine Hawaiian cuisine.
Thanksgiving Turkey Trot
5K Turkey Trot Get a healthy start while supporting the community... sounds like winner winner turkey dinner. Early morning sunrise stroll or run with peaceful and breath taking views of the ocean. A fun family friendly run, walk, or trot on the beautiful Hokuala grounds.
Light on Rice Parade
Come early for seating and watch as the lights turn on at the County Building! Lots of fun for the family! The parade will begin at Vidinha Stadium, head down Hoʻolako and Rice streets, and end on ʻEiwa Street at the Historic County Building.
